It’s almost the weekend, which means it’s time for another Biz e-Friday Countdown, a summary of some of the week’s parenting blog highlights. Fittingly, we focus on the fabulous daddy blogs out there. We love that you love unconditionally, share your trials and tribulations of parenting through your blogs and provide the “other point of view.” Here are some of this week’s standouts:
5. Almighty Dad
Keith Wilcox is a stay-at-home dad who home schools and has cultivated his blog into a comprehensive resource for parents everywhere. His site includes contributing writing who are moms and dads covering a wide range of topics.
4. Dadstreet
Down-to-Earth, funny dad is how we’d describe Josh, the main dude on Dadstreet. With daily tips, technology and travel features as well as product reviews, parents get an honest opinion from this super-dad.
3. Bruce Sallan
Talented dad, blogger and author, Bruce Sallan writes with passion. He speaks about what he has experienced and people listen. Tough subjects including single parenting, divorce issues, dating as a single parent, step-parent issues, dealing with teens, drug and alcohol issues are just some of the inspiration for his stories that he shares with the world. This site is the place to go for a “Dad’s Point-of-View.”
2. Dad-o-Matic
Since 2008, Chris Brogan has been blogging and creating a space for dads to share parenting experiences. Men and women welcome, and there’s enough subject matter to suit any parent. From Lifestyle, entertainment, education and other areas of special interest to guest blogging features, this site is well-rounded.
1. Dad Labs
Dad Labs is not just a blog, it’s a community. With an active forum, regular Twitter parties and fun video segments, this site is a place dads (and moms) can come for support in all aspects of parenting. Consider them your wingman.
There’s so many great blogging dad’s out there, it’s impossible to highlight them all, but we tip our hat to all of you this Father’s Day weekend and celebrate the wonderful, strong, funny men you are.
Enjoy the weekend and sleep until the kids wake you up!
